Deep Water Point & Associates hires new chief executive
The government market consultancy's founder previously led it for nearly two decades.
Deep Water Point & Associates, the management and strategic consultancy to many government contractors, has hired a new chief executive in the wake of the company's post-merger rebrand.
Brooke Smith joins Deep Water Point & Associates from Salesforce, where he most recently was vice president of business development and strategy. Smith succeeds Howard Seeger, who founded Deep Water Point & Associates and led it for almost 19 years.
This senior leadership transition announced Monday takes place approximately eight months after Deep Water Point acquired Wolf Den Associates in a transaction that saw a pair of the government market's go-to advisory firms join forces.
Private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners acquired Deep Water Point in October and announced the purchase of Wolf Den one month later. In the spring of this year, Renovus unveiled that company's current name with the teams being combined.
Smith's most recent role at Salesforce involved growth outreach and market development for the cloud-based software provider's clients in the aerospace, defense and government systems integrator sectors.
He is also a former chief growth officer for Throughline and held executive roles at Xerox, QinetiQ's U.S. subsidiary, TKC Communications and several other government services companies.
