Acquisition brings stable of defense contracts to SkyePoint
SkyePoint Decisions is bringing over a business unit being carved out by its former owner.
SkyePoint Decisions has acquired the government services business from Arrowpoint Corp. and has picked up a slate of large contract vehicles as part of the deal.
The company is buying SNR Government IT Services, which was a subsidiary of Arrowpoint. SNR holds spots on Defense Logistics Agency’s J6 Enteprise Technology Services contract, the Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services vehicle, and the Army ITES-3S vehicle.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
SNR’s services include providing technical and management expertise to support applications, software, hardware, infrastructure and systems. With the acquisition, it becomes the defense business for SkyePoint.
“Our ability to provide meaningful solutions to Federal agencies, anytime, anywhere now further expands SkyePoint’s reach to the DOD as a Prime contractor,” said SkyePoint President Frank Sturek.
