Roboyo brings in a new senior vice president for its U.S. public sector business that will chart the automation technology firm's growth strategy across federal, state and local government.

Automation and professional services outfit Roboyo has hired a new senior vice president for its U.S. public sector business in Jim Walker, a three-decade government services veteran.

He will oversee Roboyo’s effort to accelerate its go-to-market strategy across the entire government market at the federal, state and local levels.

Roboyo said Thursday it is pursuing expansion of its intelligent automation solutions to help customers further enable what the company calls “human plus digital” workforces.

Walker joins Roboyo from UiPath, where he formerly was chief technology officer and evangelist for that company’s public sector team.

His career in government includes leadership roles at NASA, the Missile Defense Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency and Army.
