Carahsoft signs partner agreements to expand IT modernization efforts

Carahsoft signed a pair of alliances late last month that extend the company’s capabilities to provide products and services geared toward IT modernization efforts.

One partnership is with ASG Technologies, which provides solutions for information access, management and control. The second pact is with RackTop Systems, which has products focused on information security.

“With the demand for IT modernization within the federal government, our new partnership with Carahsoft will help government agencies solve their most difficult data, compliance and cybersecurity challenges,” RackTop Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Halstuch said via email.

Carahsoft has added both companies to its Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider partnership program.

ASG’s products such as "Enterprise Data Intelligence" and "Content Solutions" help users gain insights into where their data resides and how it moves through their systems. The better an agency understands its data, the better decisions it can make, ASG said in a release.

The Content Solutions product, for example, supports digital transformation and will help agencies move content from legacy to next-generation systems as well as moving data to the cloud.

RackTop’s products also help with the movement of data from legacy systems to the cloud because it can encrypt data.

“We are constantly evaluating solutions that can address government agencies’ unique challenges to drive smarter and more efficient ways of working,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft.

The company also recently expanded its partnership with ServiceNow when it signed an enterprise license agreement with GSA.
