Peraton adds intell community veteran to advisory board

Peraton has added longtime intelligence community and law enforcement veteran Bill Evanina to the board of advisers, the company said Tuesday.

Evanina most recently was director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, a role that saw him lead efforts to automate elements of the security clearance process and integrate continuous monitoring practices.

His career also includes service as chief of the CIA’s counterespionage group and 16 years at the FBI, where he rose to assistant special agent in charge of the Washington field office, national security branch.
