Cisco's board of directors elects a new member in John Harris, formerly a senior executive at Raytheon for nearly three decades.
Cisco said Thursday its board of directors has elected a new member in John Harris, formerly a senior executive at Raytheon for nearly three decades.
Harris most recently was vice president of business development for Raytheon prior to its merger with United Technologies Corp. In addition to that role, Harris also led the company’s international sales and marketing arm with responsibility for the global business strategy.
His career at Raytheon also includes a stint as president of its technical services business, which later combined with another unit to form what became the intelligence, information and services segment.
