The General Services Administration has moved ahead on making three blocks of awards for the on-ramp of its OASIS Small Business contract vehicle for professional services to federal agencies.
GSA announced those lists of apparently successful winners in a trio of notices posted Tuesday to Beta.Sam.Gov.
Click the respective links in this paragraph to view the 84 companies chosen for the third phase of Pool 1, followed by the 163 selected for Pool 3 and the 64 awarded seats on Pool 4.
That adds up to 311 total new companies joining the OASIS SB vehicle. Given the on-ramp’s recent history, more bid protests seem likely from those disappointed over missing the cut. But some have already been filed by companies who were eliminated from consideration along the way.
There could even be changes in the final roster of winners as awardees remain subject to challenges of their size status and thus eligibility for this small business set-aside contract.
GSA is not done with the on-ramp process. Up next are remaining 8(a) awards for sometime in June. After that are awards for Unrestricted pools 1, 3 and 4 in late June.
Pool 1 covers very broad professional services. Those awards have come out in two prior phases.
Pool 3 is for professional services focused on the military. Pool 4 covers nanotechnology, biotech and other life sciences.
Pool 1, 3 and 4 unrestricted awards will be the first on-ramp awards for full-and-open task order competitions.
