Brillient promotes Strasser in exec shuffle

Brillient Corp. has made a series of executive appointments as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at making the government services company a $100 million-revenue business by 2021.

In a release Monday, Brillient said it promoted former President Paul Strasser to CEO and that founder Sukumar Iyer will remain executive chairman.

Strasser joined the Reston, Virginia-based company last year as president after a stint at Data Systems Analysts as a group executive vice president. He is a also a former CEO of Project Performance Company, which DSA acquired in 2017 and he subsequently joined through that transaction.

The company has hired two new members to its management team in Randy “RJ” Kolton, who was named chief growth officer; and Richard Jacik, who joins as general manager for the health division.

Kolton was most recently senior vice president for business development at Synectics for Management Decisions Inc., and prior to that helped run a consultancy that helped other government contractors build up their planning and business development functions.

Jacik is formerly a principal at IMI Services, a similar consultancy focused on helping contractors with leadership and strategy. He also is a former senior vice president at Acentia and led federal health accounts at CGI Federal.
