BAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary has promoted nearly 13-year company veteran Dr. Ravi Ravichandran to chief technology officer for its intelligence and security segment -- the systems integration and government services business.
Ravichandran will drive the development, integration and transition next-generation offerings for both current programs and future technology pursuits of BAE Systems Inc.
“As we advance our systems integration capabilities, he will focus on expanding our cutting-edge technologies in applied intelligence/machine learning, cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise IT modernization, and system sustainment,” Al Whitmore, president of the intelligence and security sector, said in a release Monday.
Most recently, Ravichandran was a director at BAE’s FAST Labs research-and-development organization. The 25-year technology veteran has focused much of his career at BAE on innovation, prototype development and product transition to support franchise programs.
