Gunnison appoints GDIT vet as next CEO

Gunnison Consulting Group has hired nearly 15-year government market veteran Gil Dussek as its next CEO to oversee operations, organic growth and acquisitions.

Dussek will also join the board of directors as part of his appointment, the government services company said in a release.

Alexandria, Virginia-based Gunnison provides software development, data analytics and system testing services to civilian agencies such as the Census Bureau and Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to Gunnison, Dussek spent eight years at General Dynamics’ IT services division and two predecessor companies in CSRA and SRA International. He most recently was vice president and general manager for GDIT’s federal civilian group.

He also spent seven years as a portfolio manager at Lockheed Martin.
