Govplace hires new COO

Reston, Virginia-based Govplace said Tuesday that it has hired 25-year technology market veteran Troy Hartless as chief operating officer.

Hartless joins the IT product reseller and systems integrator after a stint as CEO at TLJ Capital. His career also includes time as chief revenue officer at Callis Communications and a vice president role at GTSI Corp.

Earlier this week, Govplace reported its win of a potential $109 million contract to help the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency adopt commercial cloud hosting environments.
