CONTRACT AWARD

State Department awards $6B global logistics contract

The State Department has awarded 11 companies positions on a potential five-year, $6 billion contract vehicle for logistics and other professional support services around the world.

Other agencies can also use the Diplomatic Platform Support Services contract to acquire life support and operations and maintenance services, the State Department said in a Wednesday FedBizOpps notice.

Work can take place in any location, although solicitation documents indicate the State Department expects a large portion of the contract to focus on locations in the Middle East and South Central Asia.

Awardees are:

  • AECOM
  • Constellis
  • DynCorp International
  • Fluor
  • Global Technical Services
  • IAP Worldwide Services
  • KBR
  • PAE
  • SOS International
  • Vectrus
  • Xator

This is a brand new contract and thus there were no incumbents. The total number of bidders is not clear at this time.

The contract covers one base year and up to four individual option years.
