Korn Ferry adds former Cybercom no. 2

Global consulting firm Korn Ferry has added to its cybersecurity practice William Mayville Jr., a retired Army lieutenant general and former second-ranked officer for Cyber Command.

Mayville will work with clients to build up their talent and knowledge bases to help further shore up cyber and information defenses, the firm said in a release.

He retired from military service last year after a 36-year career that culminated with service as vice commander of Cyber Command, where he helped lead 6,200 staffers and oversee a $230 million research and acquisition enterprise.
