PE firm backs Sev1Tech

Private equity firm DFW Capital Partners has acquired a controlling equity stake in Sev1Tech, a government and commercial IT services provider.

In a Thursday release, Sev1Tech said current CEO Bob Lohfeld Jr. and other members of the current management team will continue to lead the company.

“The Sev1Tech management team sought out DFW as a partner to enable growth both organically and through acquisition. The DFW partnership provides us the ability to maintain our culture and mission delivery focus which we have built over the last 9 years,” Lohfeld Jr. said in the release.

DFW focuses on lower middle-market services companies with an emphasis on healthcare, outsourced business and industrial support services.

Woodbridge, Virginia-based Sev1Tech provides IT, cybersecurity, cloud computing and program management services and solutions to government agencies and commercial entities.
