CNSI names health IT vet Todd Stottlemyer as CEO

Health care IT company CNSI said Wednesday it has appointment veteran technology executive Todd Stottlemyer as CEO nearly eight months after the company’s sale to a private equity firm.

More recently, Stottlemyer was chief executive of Inova Health System’s Center for Personalized Health for three years until he stepped down from that role in September.

Alvarez & Marshal Capital acquired a majority stake in CNSI in April to help the company continue its expansion efforts among both federal and state health care programs.

CNSI particularly wants to grow its cloud offerings and other technologies used in claims processing, provider enrollment, data visualization and predictive analytics functions.

Stottlemyer was CEO of health care IT company Acentia and led it through the sale to Maximus in 2015. His career also includes roles such as CEO of Apogen Technologies, president of McGuireWoods Consulting, chief financial officer at BTG, and as a member of the senior executive team of BDM International.

News of Stottlemyer’s appointment at CNSI was first reported by the Washington Business Journal Monday. The publication added that former co-presidents Adnan Ahmed and Jaytee Kanwal remain on CNSI’s board of directors.

Stottlemyer also recently penned a column for Washington Technology on the leadership lessons he learned from his William & Mary football coach Jimmye Laycock, who is retiring this year after 39 years.
