Halfaker hires General Dynamics IT vet Ken Georgi as COO

Federal IT services contractor Halfaker and Associates hires former General Dynamics IT civilian head Ken Georgi as COO.

Federal IT services contractor Halfaker and Associates said Monday it has hired former General Dynamics IT civilian sector leader Ken Georgi as chief operating officer.

The 25-year market veteran more recently was vice president and general manager of GDIT's civilian business. Georgi joined the GDIT division in 2011 and his roles there also included vice president of health care enterprise systems.

Prior to GDIT, he was chief operating officer of the former Buccaneer Computer Services. That company was acquired in 2010 by Vangent, which itself was purchased one year later by GDIT.

Georgi served 10 years as a Marine Corps officer before he entered the private sector.
