Patriot Defense continues acquisition strategy with another deal

Defense and intelligence services company Patriot Defense Group has acquired Innovative Logistics in a move to add new work with Special Operations Command and other expeditionary services.

Terms of the transaction were undisclosed. PDG said Thursday the deal is in keeping with its 10-year growth strategy with acquisitions as a key component of that strategy.

This is Orlando, Florida-based PDG’s second acquisition in the past six months. It bought Virginia-based Silverback 7 in September of last year. The Central Florida region is home to several U.S. military training centers. PDG also has an office in Arlington, Virginia.

Innovative Logistics operates as a third-party logistics provider in war zones, hostile environments and frontier economies that include locations such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Yemen.

PDG's customer base includes agencies in the special operations, intelligence and law enforcement communities.
