SAIC wins second task order to support Army missile group

SAIC has won its second task order in two days to support an Army missile group. This time it's a $109 million contract for aviation systems engineering and software development.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $109 million contract to provide a variety of aviation systems engineering and software development to the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Software Engineering Directorate.

This contract was awarded under the General Services Administration’s OASIS contract.

Under the contract, SAIC will perform lifecycle systems and software engineering support to ensure that the Army receives the latest technology and equipment needed for mission success, the company said in a release.

This is the second award in two days that SAIC has won to support AMRDEC. The company earlier won a $757 million task order for systems and computer resources.
