Deloitte & Touche has named Mary Galligan a director in its security and privacy practice.
Galligan comes to Deloitte from the FBI, where she spent more than 25 years of her professional career. She was most recently a senior-ranking special agent in charge of the New York FBI office.
The company’s security and privacy practice comprises more than 1,500 professionals focused in cyber risk, information security, privacy and business resilience, the company said in a release.
The addition of Galligan brings a national security and law enforcement perspective to the incident response portion of the cybersecurity equation, Deloitte said.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University, a master’s degree in psychology from the New School for Social Research, and an honorary doctorate of law from Marian University.
