KBR adds former ASRC Federal exec to North American unit

Former ASRC Federal CEO Richard Ambrose has been named president of government and logistics for KBR’s North American operations.

He will report to Mark Williams, the Houston-based construction firm’s group president for infrastructure, government and power, according to an April 5 company announcement.

The 30-year commercial and government sector veteran brings an understanding of the government market and experience in growing business within that sector.

Ambrose was credited with generating $900 million in revenue at ASRC’s family of companies.

ASRC Federal is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corp., an Alaska Native corporation owned by approximately 11,000 Iñupiat shareholders.

Arctic Slope Regional Corp., of Anchorage, Alaska., ranks No. 57 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
