QinetiQ wins Army aviation logistics work

QinetiQ North America won a $22 million task order under the General Services Administration’s Alliant contract to support logistics for Army aviation operations.

The company is working on the Unite Level Logistics System – Aviation, Enhanced or ULLS-A(E) system for the Communications and Electronics Command at Fort Lee, Va.

The system is an automated aviation logbook and maintenance and logistics management system that helps Army aviation units perform and track maintenance and supply operations. It has more than 52,000 users in 600 units and support facilities globally.

QinetiQ developed the original system, the company said.

Other services to be performed include project management, data conversion, training and implementation.

QinetiQ is ranked No. 43 on Washington Technology's 2011 Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
