NVTC's Kilberg named to McDonnell transition team

Five-member group will assist new Virginia administration

Bobbie Kilberg, president and chief executive officer of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, has been named one of five co-chairs for Virginia Republican Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell’s transition team.

In addition to Kilberg, the other transition co-chairs are Lieutenant Gov. Bill Bolling; Attorney General Bill Mims; Thomas Farrell, chairman, president and CEO of Dominion Resources; and Kay Cole James, president and founder of Gloucester Institute.

“The governor-elect clearly recognizes the importance of the technology industry to the economic growth of the Commonwealth and we look forward to working with him, his staff, and the incoming administration,” Kilberg said in a statement.
