Washington Consulting Inc. will provide program management, information technology and collaboration solutions to the Federal Communications Commission under a three-year, $2.3 million contract.

WCI will assist with FCC's auditing initiatives by designing and implementing a Microsoft Office SharePoint information portal and Office Project Server to provide detailed data for tracking and improving management of audit-related deliverables, milestones and results.

WCI is helping FCC establish a systematic approach to efficiently planning and executing audit activities by using program management and technical services during the initial system implementation and using project management services for audit activities, company officials said.

The contract runs until September 2011.
