Pragmatics pulls in homeland security work

Pragmatics Inc. will provide operations and maintenance support to the Homeland Security Department's Office of the Chief Information Officer under a $1.9 million task order.

The McLean, Va., company won the task order under DHS' Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions contract vehicle.

Pragmatics' work will support the Secretary's Priority Tracker, a system that allows the agency's program managers to file regular updates on their progress toward goals and priorities using a Web-based dashboard application.

Microsoft Corp. and Deloitte Consulting are part of the Pragmatics team on the project.

Pragmatics is an information technology company that specializes in software, systems engineering and integration, information assurance, and program management services.
