Juniper Networks gets GSA schedule

Juniper Networks Inc. will make its networking products available on a new GSA schedule.

Juniper Networks Inc. will make its networking products available on a new General Services Administration schedule, the company said. The contract was awarded to ImmixGroup Inc., a government business consulting firm in McLean, Va.

ImmixGroup will be responsible for managing the vehicle and serve as a consultant to Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Juniper throughout the sales process.

Juniper sells a variety of infrastructure solutions, including routing platforms. Last December, the company won a contract to provide core and edge routers for the Defense Information Systems Agency's Global Information Grid Bandwidth Expansion project. Analysts estimated the GIG-BE business was worth roughly $150 million to Juniper.

"Enabling government agencies to purchase our products through the GSA Schedule is an important element of our federal strategy," said Dubhe Beinhorn, vice president of Juniper Federal Systems.
