Oracle Unveils Revamped Unit

Oracle Corp. of Redwood Shores, Calif., has reorganized its largest division Ñ Oracle Government, Education & Health Ñ and named four new directors to head the division's major markets.

Oracle Government, Education & Health ? and named four new directors to head the division's major markets."The business got so big, the next step was to bring in general managers," said Jay Nussbaum, who's been promoted to executive vice president of the unit. Nussbaum said the division generated $110 million in 1992 and is expected to hit $1 billion in revenue this year.Oracle formally introduced the new division managers Nov. 6 when it opened its $65 million campus in Reston, Va. Oracle, the world's second largest software company, created the general managers' jobs at the June 1 start of the company's fiscal year. Steve Perkins is senior vice president, general manager/federal; Ron Cuneo is vice president, general manager/state and local; Carl Kelly is vice president, general manager/higher education; and Dave Nesvisky is vice president, general manager/ health industries.
