Leidos wins $13M R&D contract

Leidos has won a $13 million contract to provide the Air Force with high speed weapons research and development.

Leidos has won a $13 million contract to provide the Air Force with high speed weapons research and development.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide support of technology research and development, modeling and simulation, and testing to address issues related to high-speed weapons, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and is expected to be completed in January 2021.

Four companies applied for this contract, the Defense Department said.
