Lockheed Martin wins $61.9M contract to support F-35

Lockheed Martin has won a $61.9 million option to continue its logistics services support for the Navy’s F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.

Lockheed Martin has won a $61.9 million option to continue its logistics services support for the Navy’s F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.

Under the contract, the company will provide automatic logistics information system operations and maintenance, reliability, maintainability and health management implementation and support and supply chain management, the Defense Department.

Work is expected to be completed in February 2016.
