SAIC wins $11.7M contract to support global security

Science Applications International Corp. has won an $11.7 million contract to develop the Global-Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System Release 3 for the Navy.

Science Applications International Corp. has won an $11.7 million contract to develop the Global-Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System for the Navy.

The base value of this contract is $11.3 million.

The G-TSCMIS serves as the information focus point for the nation’s security cooperation efforts by providing decision makers with the ability to view, manage and assess security cooperation activities and events, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide software development, design, integration, technical and engineering support, configuration management, testing, data management, program management, contract administration and logistics, the Defense Department said in a release.

SAIC was the only bidder on this contract.
