Exelis wins $71.5M contract to support flight program software

Exelis has won a $71.5 million sole-source contract to support the Air Force’s Countermeasure System Operational Flight Program software.

Exelis has won a $71.5 million sole-source contract to support the Air Force’s Countermeasure System Operational Flight Program software.

Under the contract, Exelis will provide software deficiency analysis, block cycle software support, enhanced maintenance test set software support, original equipment manufacturer system sustaining engineering services and maintainability and reliability system line replaceable unit-10 final redesign, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at various Air Force Bases around the United States, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 27, 2018.
