Perot hires IT vet for leadership post

Eugene "Lee" Carrick, formerly of Northrop Grumman Corp., is now an executive vice president at Perot Systems Government Services.

Perot Systems Corp. has tapped a new leader for its homeland security, national security and defense business.

Eugene "Lee" Carrick, formerly of Northrop Grumman Corp., is now an executive vice president at Perot Systems Government Services. While with Northrop Grumman's information technology unit, Carrick was vice president of enterprise solutions for civilian agencies. He led a division with annual revenue of $480 million and 1,500 people.

"Perot Systems is pleased to bring on board such a capable and proven executive in the federal services industry to lead our rapidly growing division of intelligence, defense and homeland security," said Jim Ballard, president of Perot Systems Government Services.
