Arinc buys staffing firm TechMart

Arinc Managed Services LLC, acquired TechMart, an IT staffing and vendor-management company, officials from Arinc said. Both companies are in Annapolis, Md.

TechMart specializes in filling long-term government and commercial IT positions for software development, IT systems support, help desks, and systems maintenance.

TechMart founder and President Ralph P. Riddle will be director of the new unit to be called Arinc Staffing. Riddle will also retain responsibility for managing TechMart's existing customer service contracts.

Current TechMart employees will transition to Arinc Managed Services either as internal employees or under contract.

Arinc Managed Services provides complementary performance-based services to its parent company, Arinc Inc., including aviation, airports, surface transportation, government, defense and healthcare services.

"We will also offer Arinc Staffing services directly to customers within the Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington areas," said Jim Martin, Arinc Managed Services senior director.
