Goddard re-ups ACS for seat management
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a one-year, $18.5 million contract to provide desktop and seat management services to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a one-year, $18.5 million contract to provide desktop and seat management services to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the company said Oct. 8.
The contract, which has one six-month option, is a follow-on delivery order to ACS' initial three-year contract that was awarded under NASA's Outsourcing Desktop Initiative.
Under the contract, ACS of Dallas will continue to provide seat management services for more than 4,000 full desktop configurations and a wide range of services to more than 12,000 agency customers with network connections. Other services provided under the contract include network support, software application support, network back-office services and infrastructure upgrades.
ACS offers business process and information technology outsourcing solutions to commercial and government clients. The company has about 40,000 employees and $3 billion in annual revenue, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
