What's In a Name: JetForm Now Accelio

JetForm Corp. is relaunching as Accelio Corp. Sept. 17 to signify its expanding focus on Web-enabled business process solutions.

JetForm Corp., best known for its electronic form solutions, is relaunching as Accelio Corp. Sept. 17 to signify its expanding focus on Web-enabled business process solutions, the company announced Sept. 12.

"Accelio is very different from the company that opened its doors in 1982," said A. Kevin Francis, president and chief executive officer of the Ottawa company. "As JetForm, we had a legacy of success in the electronic forms business. As we continued to evolve ... we have expanded our offerings to encompass a complete family of Web-enabled business process solutions."

With 650 employees in 15 countries, Accelio generated of $100 million in revenue for fiscal 2000. As of the second quarter of fiscal 2001, the company has experienced four consecutive quarters of year over year revenue growth.

The company has more than 7,000 customers worldwide. Over the past 17 months, JetForm expanded its sales force and formed partnerships with Siebel Systems Inc. and Accenture Ltd.

The new name was approved by the company's board of directors and shareholders at the Sept. 12 annual meeting. The company's stock symbol changes on Nasdaq to "ACLO" and the Toronto Stock Exchange to "LIO." A new Web site will be launched at www.accelio.com.
