JULY 20 ? Logicon Inc. and Enterworks Inc. have reached an agreement whereby Logicon will resell Enterworks' e-business portal and marketplace software solutions to the Air Force and all U.S. intelligence agencies. Logicon also will offer Enterworks' products to the rest of the Department of Defense.

"Using Enterworks' products, federal government agencies can quickly integrate existing applications and data to develop e-government solutions," said Vince Steckler, vice president of Logicon's Application Solutions unit.

Logicon, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corp., is one of the largest suppliers of off-the-shelf software to the federal government. The Herndon, Va., company will resell Enterworks' content and process integration solutions through its General Services Administration schedule, the Air Force's IT2 blanket purchase agreement and other federal government contracts.

"This partnership combines Enterworks' expertise in business process automation and real-time content integration of mission-critical business information with Logicon's ability to offer industry-leading capability and top-notch service to assist with e-business government integration products," said Enterworks President Robert Lewis.

The agreement, announced July 18, will push Enterworks' federal government business over its current level of about 50 percent, a company spokesperson said.
