The Board of Governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association in Washington, D.C., elected Charles W. Denny, president and CEO of Square D. Co., to a one-year term as chairman of NEMA.

MedImmune Inc. of Gaithersburg, Md., has named Jayne Latter Korolkoff as vice president of finance. She will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and purchasing.

Federal Sources Inc., of McLean, Va., announces the appointment of Dr. Thomas R. Davies as vice president. Davies will join FSI's Consulting Division heading up the state and local government consulting practice.

Hanover, Md.-based Rietschle Inc. has promoted Jorge B. Cenizal to vice president. Cenizal formerly acted as controller and treasurer of the company.

Fairfax, Va.-based ICF Kaiser International Inc. announced that David Watson has joined the company as an executive vice president and group president of ICF Kaiser's International Operations Group. Watson will develop and manage engineering, construction and consulting projects for ICF Kaiser outside the United States. Salvatore "Tory" Martinelli has joined the company as a vice president within the federal programs group. Martinelli will focus on project development activities related to environmental, construction management, and engineering and design services for the U.S. Department of Defense, with special emphasis on programs for the U.S. Navy.

Jim Mannos has joined Cornerstone Inc. of San Jose, Calif., as vice president of engineering. Mannos will oversee Cornerstone's research and development of new products for the display and print business unit, as well as the ongoing support and upgrade of existing products.

GETTING A WINDOW...
Sequent Computer Systems, of McLean, Va., announces the appointment of Dan Twomey as manager of business development for federal operations. Twomey will head a new group focused on working with systems integrators and major software providers to address major new programs.

McLean, Va.-based Wang Federal Inc. announced that Kirk Carpenter has joined the company as director of advanced technology for the organization's software business unit.

AWARDS
The National Association of State Aviation Officials announced that the Virginia Department of Aviation is the recipient of the "Most Innovative State Program Award" for 1995. The recipient was recognized for their joint development with ARINC Inc. of the Airport Remote Radio Access System.

J. Robert Porter is the recipient of the William T. Pecora Award, which is bestowed jointly by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Department of the Interior. The award serves as recognition of outstanding contributions toward the understanding of the Earth by means of remote sensing. Porter was cited for his significant long-term contributions to the commercial applications of Earth observations from space.
