NTT Data launches COVID compliance tool

NTT Data has launched a tool to help agencies and companies track which employees are vaccinated and those awaiting test results.
As agencies and government contractors move toward meeting vaccine mandates, NTT Data has launched an app called Smart Back to Work to help track compliance.
The app is designed to work on smartphones, tablets and computers and allow users to upload proof of vaccination, attest to their vaccine status and upload COVID test results.
NTT Data estimates that 9.1 million workers will need to comply with COVID-19 related back to work requirements.
“In times of crisis, technology companies have to be nimble to respond to changing client needs and priorities,” NTT Data's public sector group president Tim Conway said in a release.
“NTT Data’s Smart Back to Work Application enables government entities and private sector businesses to seamlessly track status and compliance with requirements, provides peace of mind and remove the complexity for all.”
The app has a dashboard for administrators to track compliance. Colleges and universities have been using the app to track exposure on campus. For example, Colorado State University used a version of the app on its campus and won a 2021 Excellence and Innovation Award from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
NTT Data worked with Amazon Web Services partner Cloudticity and a tool it has for managing real-time compliance.
