Maryland intelligence provider expands Virginia footprint with acquisition
MasterPeace Solutions makes an acquisition to expand its offerings and get more of a foothold on the other side of the Potomac River.
An intelligence contractor mostly based in Maryland announced an acquisition and new hire Tuesday (today) as it pushes for a greater presence in Northern Virginia to work with more customers
MasterPeace Solutions of Columbia has acquired Full Suite Solutions of Reston, Virginia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Paul and Cait von Schnetlage, who founded FSS, will remain in leadership positions to help with the integration.
MasterPeace also hired Jeanine Callahan as senior vice president to lead the FSS integration and the expansion into Northern Virginia. She has more than 30 years of experience supporting the intelligence community as well as working with small and mid-size businesses.
According to MasterPeace's announcement, the strategy is to build a company that can address a workforce skills gap with a platform that provides engineers with opportunities to develop their skills and keep on the cutting edge of technology.
“Our success stems from putting our people first and focusing on being a great partner to our primes,” MasterPeace CEO Drew Cohen said in a release. “We are excited to work with Paul, Cait, and the entire FSS team and offer their engineers access to more assignment mobility and choices for career development.”
The von Schnetlages founded FSS about a decade ago and the company has focused on the defense and security markets. FSS provides software and services. Its first contract was to build a munitions tracking system demonstration tool.
