Alion promotes new senior VP

Alion Science and Technology has promoted nearly two-decade company veteran Glenn Goodman to senior vice president of a business group focused on the company’s training offerings.

Goodman will lead the newly-created live, virtual and constructive solutions group whose customers extend across the Defense Department, Alion said Thursday.

The company credited Goodman with leading its pursuit and capture of an $896 million task order last year to help the Navy further evolve its training environment.

At that time, he was vice president of operations for Alion’s advanced modeling and simulations unit within the cyber network solutions group.
