Telos adds veteran to sales leadership team

Telos Corp. has hired nearly two-decade technology sector veteran Troy Bertram as a vice president to lead several global enterprise sales teams, the cybersecurity company said Tuesday.

Bertram will focus his efforts on state and local governments, education, regulated industries and commercial business verticals.

He joins Telos nearly four months after the company completed its initial public offering that was oversubscribed to by investors. Telos planned to use much of the proceeds to further build up its sales and marketing teams, CEO John Wood told us in January on Project 38.

Most recently, Bertram was chief revenue officer at autonomous ocean vehicle maker Saildrone. He also was a general manager at Amazon’s cloud computing segment and spent more than 10 years at Dell Technologies.
