Deloitte names new aerospace practice leader, Robin Lineberger to retire
Deloitte has appointed a new leader for its aerospace and defense sector as long-time executive Robin Lineberger announces his retirement.
Deloitte has named John Coykendall as the leader of its aerospace and defense sector globally and in the U.S.
The U.S. business is part of Deloitte’s industrial products and construction practice. On the global side, Coykendall is replacing Robin Lineberger, who will retire in May.
Coykendall is based in Stamford, Connecticut and will lead the strategic direction for the sector along with go-to-market strategies for key businesses such as audit and assurance, consulting, tax, and risk and financial advisory services to customers.
Those clients are in the industries of aerospace; commercial aircraft; business and general aviation; space and shipbuilding; and defense.
Most recently, Coykendall served as the consulting leader for Deloitte’s global industrial products and construction practice.
Lineberger retires after more than a decade at Deloitte, where he at one time ran their federal business. He joined Deloitte when the firm bought BearingPoint, where he had spent over 20 years that culminated in his leadership of the $1.5 billion public sector business.
He is also a past winner of the Federal 100 award given by our sibling publication FCW.
