Gunnison follows acquisition with quick win

Find opportunities — and win them.

Gunnison closed its first acquisition last month and the new addition quickly booked a $50 million contract award.

Talk about good timing.

Less than a month after Gunnison Consulting made its first acquisition in G2SF Inc., the new addition brought in a $52.7 million contract.

Gunnison, a small business with about $25 million in revenue and backed through a minority investment by Blue Delta Capital Partners, acquired G2SF in mid-November. On Dec. 8, G2SF won a five-year, $52.7 million contract with the Interior Department.

Technically, the contract is a blanket purchase agreement and Interior will use it to manage IT services, operations and applications with an integrated hybrid premise and cloud-based enterprise IT solution, the company said in a release.

BMC is a partner to Gunnison-G2SF on the contract.

“With the closing of the G2SF acquisition just days before this award, we could not be more excited about this phenomenal start to our new partnership,” said Gil Dussek, Gunnison’s CEO.
