Leidos wants back in on Army intell contract

Find opportunities — and win them.

Leidos pushes back on its exclusion from a competition for a $100 million plus Army intelligence support services contract.

Leidos has been eliminated from a competition to supply a variety of services through an Army intelligence contract and they want back in.

The company competed for a $100 million task order under the Army’s Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 vehicle. The competition reached a point where the Army was winnowing competitors and excluded Leidos.

The task order is for personnel, management support and other services that support counterintelligence and human intelligence work by the Army.

Leidos is arguing that the Army reached incorrect conclusions about its proposal and it should be allowed back into the competition.

Leidos filed its protest Aug. 3 and a decision is due from the Government Accountability Office on Nov. 12.

But if I were a betting man, I’d wager that we see a corrective action by early September that puts Leidos back in the running.
