Brillient tapped for USDA records work

Brillient Corp. will help the Agriculture Department digitize paper records and deploy a new electronic record management system.

The Agriculture Department has tapped Brillient Corp. for a $112 million blanket purchase agreement to deploy a digital records management system.

The system will support USDA’s farm production and conservation mission area. USDA aims to replace paper-based businesses with an electronic records management system that complies with National Archive and Records Administration requirements.

Brillient will digitize paper records, train personnel, support business process changes, in addition to deploying a digital records management system.

The BPA award represents new work for the company as well as a win in the full-and-open competition, Brillient CEO Paul Strasser said in a release.
