General Dynamics has won a $57 million task order from the Navy to work on a training curriculum under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning program.

The program was created to provide sailors with the right training at the right time of their career.

The $57 million price tag includes options and was competed through a multiple-award contract at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.

GDIT will provide instructional designs and assessment strategies using advanced technologies across a variety of formats. These include instructor-facilitated and self-directed interactive training, performance support and structured on-the-job resources.

The training will be delivered via multiple platforms including the Navy e-Learning platform, labs, virtual display and mobile devices.

Sailor 2025 was created in 2015 to improve personnel management and training systems. It supports both recruiting and retaining sailors through better promotion and advancement, evaluation and fitness reports, selection boards, and educational and professional development opportunities.
