CenturyLink names leader of new public sector group
CenturyLink appoints a familiar face to lead its newly-formed public sector group that includes the company's government, education and public safety work.
CenturyLink has appointed David Young as senior vice president of its new public sector group. He previously was senior vice president of strategic government.
The company has reorganized its public sector group to pull together federal, state and local government, research and education and public safety into a single organization.
Young will report to Ed Morche, president of strategic enterprise and government markets at CenturyLink.
Sonia Ramsey, regional vice president of the state and local and education sales group, will report to Young as part of the reorganization.
CenturyLink said it created the new public sector group to leverage the company’s momentum in transforming and modernizing key public sector spaces, combine process best practices and ensure best-in-class lifecycle management.
