Sev1Tech appoints new BD head

Sev1Tech has appointed three-decade government market veteran and former Salient CRGT executive Andy Cohen as vice president of business development.

Cohen will spearhead the Woodbridge, Virginia-based company’s work to build and shape opportunities in the Health and Human Services Department, according to a release.

At Salient CRGT, Cohen worked in that company’s business development and capture team focusing on HHS.

He spent much of his career at the former SRA International in roles related to project and program management, profit-and-loss, business development and capture.

Private equity firm DFW Capital Partners acquired a controlling equity stake in Sev1Tech in March.
