Leidos makes promotion in civil group
Leidos promotes one of its lead civil group executives to a new role overseeing work with three key agencies in the portfolio.
Leidos has promoted one of its lead civilian group executives in Barbara Slayton to a newly-created role with responsibility for growth within three key agencies in the company's portfolio.
The company said Monday that Slayton was named strategic account executive for NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and National Science Foundation. She will oversee efforts to capture new opportunities, further build relationships with customers and drive organic growth strategies.
Previously, Slayton was vice president of business development for Leidos' exploration and mission support business line. She has also held leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Westinghouse.
