Acendre makes deal to expand e-learning platform
In its first deal since being acquired itself, Acendre buys ICS Learning Group to further grow an e-learning portfolio.
An Australia-based company with a long history of supporting talent management solutions for the U.S. federal government has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of a company with e-learning and learning management solutions.
Terms were not disclosed in Acendre's pickup of ICS Learning Group. But Acendra does tout almost 200 federal agencies as customers with web-based solutions around recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
ICS Learning Group offers learning management systems and custom-courseware development to a range of industries including manufacturing, financial services and pharmaceuticals. It counts among its customers the Air Force, Census Bureau, Justice Department, National Institute of Science and Technology, and General Services Administration.
Strattam Capital acquired Acendre five months ago to create a platform for further acquisitions around software-as-a-service talent management capabilities.
