GovCon consulting firm uses M&A to expand offerings

Find opportunities — and win them.

Premier Consulting & Integration, a firm that provides a range of financial management consulting and audit support to contractors, is expanding its reach into travel and expense management.

Mergers and acquisitions aren’t just for government contractors. Sometimes the services companies that support the GovCon market do a little dealmaking of their own.

Premier Consulting and Integration, which provides a range of financial management consulting and audit support for contractors, has made its first deal with the acquisition of Left Turn Consulting, which provides travel and payment services.

Premier Consulting & Integration, or PCI, aims to expand what it offers GovCon customers and expand into new markets.

The deal follows the formation of a joint venture between both companies known as ARCH, an integrated travel and expense solution for government contractors.

“I am excited about bringing the two companies together to expand our focus and bring leading-edge solutions to market,” said Aaron Kelling, Left Turn’s managing partner. “Our first joint venture has been hugely successful by pulling the knowledge and resources of the two companies to create the new ARCH Travel program developed for our government contractor customers.”

PCI founder and Managing Partner Martin McGann said putting the two companies together will allow them to simplify the travel and payment reconciliation process.

PCI is headquartered in Red Bank, New Jersey. According to its website, it offers a wide range of Deltek-related services including accounting solutions, back office support, opportunity discovery, and contract close-out.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
